Hitec Rubber was established in 1992 in the Benoni Industrial area of Johannesburg, but have recently relocated to East Boksburg. In 2005 Hitec Rubber joined the Natal Rubber Group of Companies to form one of the largest non-tyre rubber groups in Africa.

Hitec Rubber has developed a comprehensive range of polymers to meet the various needs of customers, be it custom compounding or rubber lining.

We work closely with all customers on the various aspects of rubber technology, assisting with material selection to suit the required specification and process requirements.

If standard compounds do not meet customer requirements Hitec Rubber offers free sample batches and our extensive development services until the requirement is met.

Mixing and Compounding

Hitec Rubber's strict process control ensures correct blending of rubber and its ingredients to meet consistency and material reliability.

A wide range of materials for various industrial applications is compounded from natural and synthetic rubbers.

Rubber Lining

Our rubber lining is of the highest quality and meets SABS 1198-1978 specifications.

We produce lining in both natural and synthetic rubber, in soft, hard and ebonite. Our natural rubber range includes gum stock with 96% for excellent wet abrasion, as well as harder compounds for excellent dry abrasion and impact resistance. It also includes specially formulated natural rubber compounds for acid resistance.

Our natural rubber lining compounds are available in both chemical cure (i.e. cold cure) and steam cure.
